Ms GOLDY MALHOTRA


Ms Goldy Malhotra is an eminent educationist. She has been the Principal of DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar, Delhi, from January 1989 to April 2000, where she had the distinction of starting the school which in a short span of time had over 4000 students from Nursery to Class XII. The school excelled in academics, co-curricular activities, sports and projects concerning human interest.

Then she was the Principal of Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi from 2000 to 2011. She was also the Chairperson, NPSC (National Progressive Schools Conference) from 2009 to 2011. She was also the Member of working group on Adolescents Development and Youth Affairs for Formulation of 11th Five Year Plan (2007-2012), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, and Member of UKIERI (UK India Education & Research Initiatives), British Council from 2008 to 2011.

Thereafter, she was the Director Education, Guru Harkrishan Public Schools managed by DSGMC from May 2011 to January 2013. She was the Executive President, Ansal’s Chain of Schools from February 2013 – 2014. Presently, she is the Director, Academic Staff College and Administration at Manav Rachna International Schools since March 2015 and Executive Director, Faculty of Education, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad.

She has done a lot of Community Work for improvement in the plight of the weaker section of the society including the tribals. She has travelled a lot in India and abroad. She has written extensively and her works have been published. She has been prominently involved with the theatre, television and creative work in aesthetics
